Tribal Culture in Nagaland

Nagaland is home to 17 major tribes, each with its own traditions and festivals. The Angami tribe known for their warrior spirit, performs thrilling war dances and celebrates Sekrenyi, a festival marking purification and the start of a new year. The  Zeliang tribe is famous for their colorful dances and the annual Hega festival, which involves rituals to invoke blessings for a prosperous year.
